Many posts have been written on dither which are interesting, and sometimes confusing and even contradictory.

Which dither depth do you use most often and sounds best to you?

Is 0.54 too little to toggle all the bits?  Does anybody ever use 0.54 then say "Oh no, I can still hear quantization noise, I better bump it up to 1?"

Your thoughts are appreciated

While it's all interesting, I've come to the conclusion that I can't really hear a difference between 0.54 and around 2, and neither can a consumer.
